Palworld breeding combos and how to use this Pal breeding calculator
This Pal breeding calculator answers two questions. What do two parents hatch? Pick Parent A and Parent B and the child appears instantly. How do I get a specific Pal? Pick the target and every pair of parents that hatches it is listed, so you can choose the pair you can actually build.
The table behind it holds all 44,849 breeding combinations for 299 Pals, extracted from the game files and last refreshed on . To browse the combos for one Pal, open it from the list of all Pals; to follow a Pal back through its ancestors, use the breeding tree; for a step-by-step route from the Pals you own, use the path finder.
After you pick the species, the inheritance odds planner shows how likely the egg is to carry the passive skills you want, and the passive skills list explains what each one does.
How Palworld breeding works
How does Palworld breeding decide the child?
Every Pal has a hidden breeding power. The game averages both parents' values and hatches the Pal whose power is closest, except for a list of hard-coded unique combinations that override the formula.
Does gender matter in Palworld breeding?
Almost never. In the game data only one pair, Katress with Wixen, produces a different Pal depending on which parent is male. The calculator flags it when it applies.
What happens when I breed the same species?
You always get that same species.
Where does the breeding data come from?
It is extracted from the game files, not copied from a community chart, so combinations stay correct after balance patches.
Is this Palworld breeding calculator updated for 1.0?
Yes. It uses game data from the 1.0 era and includes the Pals added in 1.0, such as Solenne, Eidrolon and Sekhmet. The footer shows the date of the data snapshot, and the What Changed page lists which Pals and breeding powers differ between versions.
How do I find the parents of a specific Pal?
Switch to the Find Parents tab, choose your target Pal and every parent pair that hatches it is listed. To plan a route from the Pals you already own, use the Path Finder.
Does the calculator include mutations?
Not yet. Mutations arrived with 1.0, but there is no official mutation chance or verifiable list of mutant parents, so PalBreeder does not invent numbers. The Mutations page lists what is confirmed and which figures are community estimates.
