Palworld Breeding Tree
Follow a Pal back through its parents. Switch recipes at any step.
Quick answer: Most Pals can be hatched from many parent pairs. Expand a Pal to see one pair at a time and use the arrows to switch recipes.
How to read a Palworld breeding tree
Pick the Pal you want at the top. The tree shows one pair of parents that hatches it, and each parent can be expanded to show how to get that Pal in turn. It is a good way to see how many generations a rare Pal needs.
For a flat list of every parent pair, open the Pal from the list of all Pals or use the Find Parents tab in the breeding calculator. To get a ready-made route from the Pals you own, try the path finder.
Frequently asked questions
What is a breeding tree in Palworld?
A breeding tree shows how a Pal is made: the two parents that hatch it, then the parents of each of those, and so on back through earlier generations.
Why can one Pal have several trees?
Most Pals can be hatched from many different parent pairs, and each parent can itself be hatched several ways. Use the arrows at each step to switch to another recipe.
How do I find the quickest way to breed a Pal?
Use the Path Finder. It starts from the Pals you own and picks recipes that add the fewest new breedings.
Is every pair in the tree a real in-game result?
Yes. The tree reads the same combination table as the breeding calculator, extracted from the game files.
