How the Breeding Farm works
The Breeding Farm is a technology unlocked at level 19. It costs 10 Wooden Boards, 20 Stone and 50 Fiber to build. Assign one male and one female Pal to it, then put a Cake in its chest: with a Cake inside, the pair lays eggs. The farm stores up to 20 eggs and takes two workers. Eggs are hatched in an Egg Incubator.
Which Pal hatches depends on the parents, not on the cake. Use the breeding calculator to pick the pair, or the path finder to plan the whole route first.
Cake recipes and what each cake does
Cakes are cooked from ingredients, and the better ones need a higher technology level. The unlock level is the level at which you can learn the recipe in the Technology menu.

- The exact talent boost of the Mushroom Cake. Guides only say it is small.
- The mutation chance. A rate of about 1% per egg, rising to about 3% with the Extravagant Vegetable Cake, is a community estimate and not an official number.
- How much more likely the Special Cake makes passive inheritance. No source gives odds.
